Stewart Brewing

Stewart Brewing is an independent brewery based at Bilston Glen near Loanhead. Its site combines production with a brewery shop, bar and pizza kitchen, giving the business both a trade-supply operation and a direct connection with customers.

Steve and Jo Stewart developed the idea after encountering the US craft-brewing scene in the 1990s, with the first official Stewart Brewing beers launched in 2004. The company later opened a custom-built brewhouse in 2013 close to its original premises. Its range now spans cask, keg, canned and bottled beers, while the brewery also runs tours and its Brew It Yourself experience.

Stewart Brewing Limited is registered in Scotland under SC261791. Trade sales, deliveries and dispense enquiries are handled from the Dryden Road brewery, alongside the separate shop and hospitality operation. For pubs, retailers and hospitality businesses, Stewart Brewing provides a Midlothian-made beer range with direct trade support from the brewery.
