McCallum Bagpipes

McCallum Bagpipes is a Kilmarnock manufacturer of Highland bagpipes, chanters, practice instruments, and related pipe-band products. The company has made bagpipes in Ayrshire since 1998 and operates from a factory and showroom at Moorfield Industrial Estate.

Its ranges include McCallum bagpipes and chanters, MacRae products, smallpipes, uilleann pipes, and practice chanters. The business also supplies drums, accessories, and Highlandwear, serving individual musicians, pipe bands, and customers buying complete instrument setups or replacement components.

Manufacturing takes place at the Kilmarnock site, where the company combines instrument-making with assembly, finishing, and customer sales. Different models, woods, mounts, and decorative options are available across the product range. McCallum Bagpipes sells to customers in Scotland and internationally, reflecting the global market for piping equipment. The company also supports players who need parts, maintenance items, or upgrades for existing instruments. The showroom also gives customers a place to view instruments and accessories.
