Absolute Escapes

Absolute Escapes is an Edinburgh-based travel company organising self-guided walking holidays and self-drive trips across the UK and Ireland. Its itineraries cover long-distance walking routes, scenic road trips, islands, national parks, and other destinations.

For walking holidays, the company arranges accommodation and trip logistics while customers follow the route independently. Its self-drive service builds itineraries around chosen destinations, with accommodation and route planning combined into one booking. Trips can be adjusted around dates, duration, and the places a customer wants to visit.

Absolute Escapes operates from Dovecot Studios in central Edinburgh and was incorporated in Scotland in 2004. The business works with visitors who want the structure of an arranged holiday without joining a fully escorted group. Its website provides route information, suggested itineraries, accommodation details, and enquiry forms covering Scotland, England, Wales, Ireland, and other destinations within its programme.
