Bruntons Aero Products

Bruntons Aero Products is a precision engineering manufacturer based at Inveresk Industrial Estate in Musselburgh, East Lothian. The company produces aerospace components, cable assemblies, and specialist engineered products for aviation, defence, and other technically demanding markets.

Its manufacturing work includes aerospace wires, control cables, machined and formed components, prototype support, and scheduled production work. The Musselburgh operation supports customers in the UK, Europe, and international aerospace and defence programmes. Engineering, production, RFQ, and technical enquiries are handled directly by the site.

Bruntons traces its manufacturing history in Musselburgh to 1876, when John Brunton opened Brunton Wire Works. The company later developed specialist aviation wires and became part of Carclo PLC in 1985. Its current production remains rooted in Musselburgh, where Bruntons continues to manufacture and support specialist engineering products from its East Lothian facility. The business also provides programme support for prototype and specialist manufacturing requirements.
