PXN Ventures

PXN Ventures is the venture capital arm of PXN Group, formed in 2025 when Edinburgh-founded Par Equity merged with Manchester-based Praetura Ventures. PXN Ventures is a trading name of PXN Group Limited, a company registered in Scotland, and the Edinburgh office at 3A Dublin Meuse continues the work of the former Par Equity team.

The firm invests from pre-seed through to later growth rounds, with published investment ranges from £200,000 to £8 million across its funds. Its portfolio spans sectors including technology, life sciences, software, healthtech, AI and climate-related businesses. The current team operates from Manchester, Leeds, Edinburgh and London.

Par Equity launched in Edinburgh in 2008 before becoming part of PXN Group. The combined group reported £760 million of assets under management as of June 2026, with more than 180 businesses backed. PXN continues to invest in Scottish companies through its Edinburgh team alongside activity across the North of England and Northern Ireland.
