Cold Town Beer is an Edinburgh craft brewery owned by Signature Pub Group, which runs bars, restaurants, and hotels across Scotland. The brand trades through Scot Brew Limited, which holds the Cold Town trademark. Its beer is brewed in the city and poured at Cold Town House in the Grassmarket.
The core range includes Crisp Craft Lager, a Baltic IPA, a session pale ale, and a nitro XPA, alongside seasonal and limited releases. Cold Town beers are served on tap in Edinburgh bars and restaurants, and cans can be ordered online for collection from Cold Town House. The business also handles trade enquiries.
Signature launched the brand in 2018, and the brewery started in a former garage on Dunedin Street, just off Leith Walk. Cold Town House opened in February 2019 in the former Robertson Memorial Church, with brewing tanks on site and a rooftop terrace overlooked by Edinburgh Castle. At the 2025 Scottish Beer Awards it was named Best Beer Destination, and Doddie Beir won gold for best pilsner.
