Scottish regional airline Loganair has agreed a season-long partnership with East Kilbride basketball club Caledonia Gladiators for the 2026/27 season.
The agreement, announced on 1 October 2026, makes Loganair an official partner of the Gladiators and gives the airline a presence at home games, across the club’s digital channels, and through hospitality and community activity.
The most visible change will be inside the Gladiators’ home arena at Playsport in East Kilbride.
The club’s Sky Bar is being renamed the Loganair Flight Deck, creating a branded hospitality area for customers, partners, and guests throughout the season. Loganair branding will also feature on courtside LED screens and the arena jumbotron, as well as in the Gladiators’ Slam Dunk feature.
Financial terms were not disclosed.
Caledonia Gladiators compete in Super League Basketball and play their home games at the 1,600-capacity Arena at Playsport. The club’s current 2026/27 schedule includes both men’s and women’s basketball at its East Kilbride base.
Loganair has framed the partnership partly around extending its reach beyond Scotland.
Lyn MacDonald, the airline’s director of marketing, communications, and product, pointed to the Gladiators’ overseas following, particularly in the US, and said the partnership would help put Loganair in front of those audiences while promoting Scotland as a destination.
Caledonia Gladiators chief executive Tony McDaid also said the club wants to grow its international support base.
For Loganair, the agreement combines arena branding, hospitality, digital exposure, and community activity around one Scottish sporting organisation. For the Gladiators, it adds another commercial partner as the club works to grow its audience at home and overseas.
Loganair operates regional services across Scotland and the wider UK, including routes serving the Highlands and Islands, as well as connections to Ireland, the Isle of Man, and selected international destinations.
