PekoeTea

PekoeTea is an Edinburgh tea blender and retailer with a tea studio at 11 Leith Walk, where customers can buy loose-leaf tea, teaware, and gifts. Flavoured teas are blended by hand at the company's own premises in Leith and sold through the studio, the website, and wholesale channels.

The catalogue includes white, green, oolong, black, and pu-erh teas, together with herbal infusions, matcha, and a small range of whisky-flavoured teas. PekoeTea also stocks Kinnettles Gold, a tea grown in Scotland. Trade customers can order through an online wholesale portal, and the company offers custom blends and white-label tea for businesses that want their own brand.

Founded in 2008, the business is run by Jon Cooper and Esther Kungu-Cooper. It traded from Leven Street in Tollcross for more than a decade before opening the Leith Walk studio in September 2021.
