JJR Print

JJR Print is a commercial printing company on Poplar Road in the Broadmeadow Industrial Estate, Dumbarton. It offers full-colour litho, digital, and wide-format printing for business and private customers, with work produced at its own Dumbarton factory rather than through print brokers.

Products include business stationery such as letterheads, compliment slips, business cards, and NCR forms, along with leaflets, booklets, posters, labels, stickers, and banners. The company also prints event items including invitations, orders of service, and table plans. A separate range of personalised greaseproof paper, butter covers, and sandwich wraps is aimed at food and catering businesses and sold online through its greaseproofguys.com shop.

The business traces its roots to Alexander Lawrence & Son, a printer in Church Street, Dumbarton, more than a century ago. The Robertson family ran it from the late 1940s, moving to Poplar Road in 1964 under the name J&J Robertson, and the company became JJR Print in 2002. Managing director Stewart Byron, a long-serving employee, bought the business in 2024.
