Aridhia

Aridhia is a Glasgow-based health data software company that develops the Aridhia Digital Research Environment (DRE). The platform gives hospitals, universities, pharmaceutical companies, and research networks secure cloud workspaces for sharing and analysing sensitive biomedical data under information governance controls.

The DRE runs on Microsoft Azure and brings together governed data access, collaborative analysis workspaces, and FAIR data services that help make research datasets findable and reusable. In 2023 the company launched the Aridhia TRE, a standalone trusted research environment sold on subscription to project teams working within grant or project budgets. Aridhia also provides enablement services for platform customers, including data engineering, pipeline development, training, and implementation consultancy, and lists its services on the UK Government's G-Cloud framework.

The company was founded in 2007 by David Sibbald, who leads it as chief executive. Its customers have included Great Ormond Street Hospital in London, which signed a ten-year agreement with Aridhia in 2017 to support the management of its research projects. The registered office is at St Vincent Plaza in Glasgow city centre.
