AJ Renewables

AJ Renewables is a solar energy installer based at Lochgelly Business Park on Auchterderran Road in Lochgelly, Fife. It is the trading name of A.J. Fire Protection and Electricals Ltd and designs and installs solar panel and battery storage systems for homes and community groups.

Projects start with a remote survey, in which the team measures roof space and uses the direction the panels would face, current electricity use, and energy rates to estimate savings and a payback period. Customers then receive a quotation, and installations are carried out by in-house teams, with online monitoring that shows system output and household consumption. The business is MCS certified and is listed as a supplier through Local Energy Scotland.

Finance can be arranged through Phoenix Financial Consultants, a credit broker for which the business acts as an Introducer Appointed Representative. Recent community work includes a solar and battery installation for Jewell Miners Club, completed in March 2026.
