Arran Whisky

Arran Whisky is the public brand of Isle of Arran Distillers, which produces single malt Scotch whisky on the Isle of Arran. The business operates two island distilleries with different whisky styles, alongside visitor facilities for people travelling to Arran.

Lochranza Distillery, founded in 1995, produces the unpeated Arran Single Malt range. The sister Lagg Distillery in the south of the island focuses on heavily peated whisky under the Lagg name. Across the business, visitors can book distillery experiences, learn about production, buy whisky, and use on-site visitor facilities.

The main Arran Whisky contact is at Lochranza, where the original modern distillery was established. The company therefore combines whisky production, maturation, sales, and tourism under the wider Isle of Arran Distillers business, while keeping Arran and Lagg as distinct whisky identities within the group. The two distilleries have separate visitor experiences while sharing the same island business.
