Boskalis provides subsea engineering and marine services from an office at Atmosphere 1 on Prospect Road in Westhill, Aberdeenshire. The Scottish operation forms part of Boskalis Subsea Services Limited, a UK company within the wider Boskalis group, and supports offshore energy work in the North Sea and other markets.
The Westhill team works across subsea inspection, repair and maintenance, diving, installation and related engineering. Boskalis also carries out SURF work involving subsea umbilicals, risers and flowlines, using diving support vessels, remotely operated vehicles and other offshore equipment. Its current subsea services pages publish a dedicated Westhill contact point for commercial and project enquiries.
Boskalis was established in the Netherlands in 1910 and has a wider UK business covering dredging, offshore energy and maritime infrastructure. Its acquisition of the former Rever Offshore subsea services operation brought that activity into the Boskalis brand. The Westhill office gives the group a permanent operating base in north-east Scotland, close to the offshore supply chain serving Aberdeen and the North Sea.
