Dewar Brothers is a packaging manufacturer based at Cleuch Mill in Tillicoultry, Clackmannanshire. Established in 1973, it designs and makes corrugated, foam, and timber packaging and builds flight cases to order, mainly for industrial and defence customers.
Its Tillicoultry facility produces corrugated boxes, foam inserts, timber crates and cases, and flight cases, so mixed-material packaging can be designed and made in one place. The company is also the Scottish supplier of SKB hard plastic cases and a European distributor of Pelican Spacecase rotationally moulded containers. Sectors served include defence, aerospace, electronics, medical, oil and gas, and general industry, and key customers can receive scheduled daily deliveries.
The business holds ISO 9001 certification and is approved under the Military Packager Approval Scheme, which allows it to design and make packaging to Ministry of Defence standards. Its timber packaging is produced to ISPM 15 requirements for export, and the company is registered with the SC21 and JOSCAR defence supply chain programmes. The trading company, Dewar Brothers Limited, was incorporated in 1991.
