Glenapp Castle is a luxury country house hotel in a Victorian baronial castle near Ballantrae, South Ayrshire. The castle stands in gardens and woodland looking out to sea towards Ailsa Craig and Arran.
The hotel offers individually decorated bedrooms and suites, fine dining, private dining, weddings and events, and exclusive use of the whole castle. Guests can book activities such as golf, falconry, and boat trips along the coast. Access to the castle and grounds is only for guests with a room or restaurant booking. The hotel is a member of Relais & Châteaux.
The castle dates from 1870 and was once the family seat of the Earls of Inchcape. It opened as a hotel in 2000 after a six-year restoration under the McMillan family's ownership. Paul and Poppy Szkiler bought it in 2015, and it is now operated by Truestone Glenapp Castle Limited, a company registered in England.
