Isle of Raasay Distillery produces single malt Scotch whisky and gin on the Isle of Raasay in the Inner Hebrides. The distillery handles distillation, maturation and bottling on the island and operates a visitor centre, shop, bar, restaurant and accommodation at Borodale House.
Its whisky range includes the distillery's lightly peated island single malt and other cask-led releases. The gin range uses a ten-botanical recipe and is also distilled and bottled on Raasay. Visitors can book distillery tours and tastings or stay in accommodation within the same building as the working distillery.
R&B Distillers established the Raasay project after identifying the island as a production base, and the distillery opened in September 2017. The business is a major visitor and production site on the island, with trade, booking and general enquiries handled directly by the Raasay team. Its products are sold directly and through stockists.
