Jerba Campervans

Jerba Campervans is an employee-owned campervan conversion company based near North Berwick in East Lothian. It converts vans into campervans for customers who want a professionally built touring vehicle, with design and manufacturing work carried out at its own workshop.

The company works with platforms including Volkswagen and Ford models and also undertakes larger van conversions. Its build work can include fitted furniture, sleeping and seating layouts, pop-top roofs, electrical systems, heating, water, storage, and other campervan equipment. Jerba is recognised as a converter and body builder for relevant vehicle programmes, with specifications developed around road use and camping.

The business began in the mid-2000s and moved into its North Berwick workshop in 2006. It became employee owned in 2018, so the people working in the company collectively hold the business through an employee ownership structure. Customers can discuss layouts and conversion choices before a build.
