Kinloch Lodge is a family-run hotel and restaurant in Sleat, in the south of the Isle of Skye. It occupies a former hunting lodge at the head of Loch na Dal, reached by a long private drive.
Guest bedrooms are split between the original lodge and a newer house built closer to the shore, and the restaurant is open to hotel guests. Public rooms include lounges and a drawing room, and the grounds have walking paths. Companies House charge records for the business also mention a cookery school at the property.
The lodge once served as a hunting lodge for Armadale Castle, the seat of Clan Donald. It was the family home of Godfrey and Claire Macdonald, who opened it to guests as a hotel. Their daughter Isabella Macdonald now runs it. Kinloch Lodge Limited is registered in Scotland, and the hotel has been awarded a Michelin Key.
