Locogen is an Edinburgh renewable-energy consultancy and project business working across the development and operation of low-carbon energy assets. Established in 2009, it supports organisations and landowners through the practical stages of renewable-energy projects.
The company's work includes advisory services, planning and environmental support, engineering, construction-stage input and asset management. Its project experience spans technologies such as solar, wind, battery storage and other distributed-energy systems. Locogen can work as a consultant on third-party projects as well as taking a direct role in development, giving clients access to technical, commercial and operational experience within one team.
Locogen Limited is an active Scottish company based at West Silvermills Lane in Edinburgh. The city office provides the principal contact point for the business and connects it with Scotland's wider energy and professional-services sector. ScottishBusiness.com lists Locogen under Construction because much of its work relates directly to developing and delivering energy infrastructure, with Consultancy used as the structured service tag.
