Sendix is a Dundee software company building tools for professionals who write and review support plans for children with additional needs. Its software is aimed at special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) teams in England and additional support needs (ASN) teams in Scotland.
The platform reviews education and support plans, flags targets that are vague or not measurable, and drafts clearer wording for professionals to check. In England, its work has centred on Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs). There it checks provision against the requirements of the Children and Families Act 2014, with multi-academy trusts as target customers. Staff review and confirm each output, so the software does not finalise documents on its own.
Sendix AI Ltd was incorporated in Scotland in March 2026. In June 2026 the company received a £15,000 Young EDGE award, supported by the Scottish Government, in Round 27 of Scottish EDGE. It has also been supported by Techscaler and exhibited at the Tes SEND Show in 2026.
