Solway Recycling

Solway Recycling is a Dumfries and Galloway business that collects and processes agricultural plastics and manufactures products from recycled material. Its work includes farm plastic recycling alongside the production of boards, bins and other items made using recovered plastics.

The company developed a bin-and-liner system to help farms separate and store plastic waste before collection. Materials handled through its recycling network can include agricultural film and other farm plastics, with recycled material used in products such as Solway Boards and stockboard-style sheets.

Solway Recycling operates from Rigghead at Shawhead near Dumfries. The company serves agricultural customers in Scotland and other parts of the UK through its own operation and collection partners. Its website provides recycling information, product details and area-specific collection guidance. Customers can contact the business for recycling arrangements, bins, liners and recycled plastic products. The company also supplies crop-packaging products and recycling equipment to farms.
