Williams Bros. Brewing Co. is an independent brewery based in Alloa, producing a wide range of traditional, historic and contemporary beers. Its roots lie in a Glasgow homebrew shop and the revival of Fraoch Heather Ale, which became the starting point for a broader range inspired by Scottish brewing ingredients and recipes.
The business moved through several production sites before taking over the former Forth Brewery at Kelliebank in Alloa in 2004. From there, Williams Bros has expanded its own beer range while also providing contract brewing and packaging for other Scottish brewers. The Alloa site handles brewing, bottling and canning, and remains the company’s main operational base.
