Harley Haddow is a multidisciplinary engineering consultancy headquartered at 124-125 Princes Street in Edinburgh. It provides civil and structural engineering, mechanical and electrical (MEP) engineering, building performance and sustainability services, BIM, and net zero advice, working on construction projects from early design through to completion.
In Scotland the firm operates from Edinburgh, Glasgow, Inverness, and Fort William, where a studio was opened to give Highland clients a local service. It also has offices in London, Manchester, Bristol, and Birmingham, the last opened in August 2026 as its eighth UK office. In September 2026 it launched a fire engineering service following the acquisition of consultancy Pillar Fire.
The business was started in 1950 by engineer Tom Harley-Haddow, who was then lecturing in structures at Edinburgh College of Art. Early commissions included one of Scotland's first space frame structures, at Edinburgh Airport, as well as Meadowbank Stadium and Glenrothes Sport Centre. More recent Scottish work includes Millport Town Hall on Great Cumbrae, which won in the Positive Addition category at the 2026 AJ Retrofit & Reuse Awards.
