EDF power solutions UK and Ireland, formerly EDF Renewables UK and Ireland, develops, builds, and operates renewable energy projects including onshore and offshore wind, solar, and battery storage. It is part of the French EDF group, with its UK head office in London. In Scotland it has an office at Atria One on Morrison Street in Edinburgh, and the company says it develops its UK onshore wind, solar, and battery storage portfolio from there.
In 2025 the business reported an operating portfolio of 11 onshore wind farms and one offshore wind farm, totalling around 980MW, with a further 1.5GW in planning and development and a team of more than 230 people. Its Scottish involvement includes the 450MW Neart na Gaoithe offshore wind farm in the Firth of Forth.
EDF's UK renewable developer and its operations and maintenance arm were brought together under the EDF Renewables brand in April 2018, and the business later adopted the EDF power solutions name. Recent activity elsewhere in the UK includes the 2025 acquisition of the 500MW Gate Burton Energy Park solar project in Lincolnshire.
