Holmes Miller is an architecture and interior design practice headquartered at 89 Minerva Street in Glasgow, with further studios in London, Leeds, and Guangzhou in China. The current firm was created through the merger of Holmes Partnership and The Miller Partnership, two long-established Glasgow practices, and began operating as one business in January 2012.
Its work covers education, healthcare, justice, civic, residential, sport and leisure, and commercial buildings, with services including feasibility studies, planning, building design, conservation, and BIM. Scottish projects include the Blairgowrie Recreation Centre, described as Scotland's first Passivhaus leisure facility, and the practice has been appointed lead architect for the redevelopment of Leith Theatre in Edinburgh.
The practice traces its origins to 1951, when Jack Holmes set up his own firm in Glasgow after wartime service with the Royal Engineers. In October 2025 Holmes Miller acquired Coltart Earley Architecture, a Glasgow practice known for social housing and conservation work, which continues to trade under its own name for now. The firm moved to a permanent nine-day fortnight for staff in January 2024.
