Mocean Energy

Mocean Energy is an Edinburgh renewable-energy technology company developing power systems for offshore environments. Founded in 2013, the business grew from wave-energy engineering and now applies its expertise to power generation and energy systems for offshore operations.

The company's work includes wave-energy technology, offshore power integration and projects designed to reduce reliance on conventional fuel or cabling for remote equipment. Its engineering teams work across concept development, testing, project delivery and collaboration with offshore operators and technology partners. Mocean has also developed activity in Aberdeen and Orkney alongside its Edinburgh presence.

Mocean Energy Ltd is an active Scottish company. The company's current website identifies Edinburgh as one of its principal Scottish locations, with additional activity in Aberdeen and Orkney. ScottishBusiness.com lists the business under Manufacturing because it develops physical offshore energy technology, while Consultancy reflects the engineering and project-development work that accompanies deployment.
