Beatsons Building Supplies

Beatsons Building Supplies is a builders' merchant with its head office and largest branch at The Whins in Alloa, Clackmannanshire. It sells to trade customers and the public through its branches and its website, with delivery across the UK. The business was bought by the Marshall family in 1984.

The range covers bricks, blocks, aggregates, plasterboard, insulation, and roofing, along with timber and sheet materials, doors, drainage, plumbing and heating, electrical goods, and paint. Garden and landscaping lines include paving, decking, fencing, and sleepers, and the company also stocks tools, workwear, and PPE. Ready-mix concrete is supplied through a separate Beatsons Concrete service.

The company was incorporated in 1966 as Robert Beatson & Son (Builders) Limited. It was originally based in Tillicoultry and moved to a larger site in Alloa in 1990. Branches followed in Cumbernauld in 1998, Penicuik in 2006, Dunfermline in 2007, and Stirling in 2013. Since 2011 it has also run a roofing division, Skyline Roofing, from its Penicuik and Dunfermline branches.
